Meet the Doctors

Dr. Brenton and Dr. Katie Pinkus

Dr. Brenton Pinkus, born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa was recruited to the United States in 1994 at the age of 19 to college play soccer. Playing one year in Atlanta, Georgia, he was then recruited to England to play professional soccer for Crystal Palace, in the English First Division. After a major foot injury requiring reconstructive surgery, Dr. Brenton prematurely ended his professional playing career. He then decided to return to school and pursue Chiropractic because of all the relief he received from Chiropractic care during his soccer career. He then played 3 more years of college soccer and was twice an All-American. He graduated from Life University in 2001 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Brenton has twice been honored with the Family Practice Excellence Award for his dedication to family healthcare in chiropractic.

Dr. Katie Pinkus, originally from Wall Township, New Jersey, graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education in 1996. Then went on to graduate school at Life University in Marietta, Georgia and received a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2000. Dr. Katie has also twice been honored with the Family Practice Excellence Award for her dedication to family healthcare in chiropractic.

Dr. Brenton and Dr. Katie met during graduate school and were married in 1999. They moved to Manchester, Vermont in 2002 to raise their family in a beautiful community and begin their practice together. Their 3 daughters, Hannah, Grace and Lucy, have been receiving chiropractic adjustments since the first days of their life. As a result of their family lifestyle none of the children have ever received any antibiotics or medications of any kind.

Dr. Brenton and Dr. Katie are actively involved in the community both personally and professionally. Coaching various ages of soccer, raising awareness of alternative health options, supporting various fund raisers and sponsoruing food drives and school supply drives for the community.

Barb Oliver : Office Manager:

I have been working at Pinkus Family Chiropractic for three years, as the Office Manager. Prior to working here, I had little knowledge of Chiropractic Care. Every day I learn something new about Chiropractic and am amazed to see the array of positive effects it has made on people's lives.

I have had a rewarding experience while working at this office. I work with a fantastic team and two exceptional Doctors who truly care about their patients and personally take an interest in each and every one of them.

I have met many wonderful people while here, who have become our “family.” I look forward to meeting many more patients in the years to come.
